Vidya & Child is a 14 year old organization working with children from low income families with the mission to help bridge the gap for those children who need education and have no access to the facilities for learning existing in our society. We work with over 1,200 children across 4 communities in Noida and 1 in Siwan, Bihar through non formal and after school support programmes.
We work through the complete educational life cycle of the child starting from Nursery and work with the child for the next 12 -15 years to ensure that the child not only completes his education but is equipped to make his life meaningful in the years ahead. A strong parent interaction programme enables the parent to provide the long term support required by the child. Our academic programmes are supported by an active Arts & Performing Arts Programme and a very intensive Life Skills Programme.
